Johnny Moore, Flow FM’s football expert, reflected on the most exciting World Cup so far in history and the brave exploits of the Socceroos on the world’s biggest stage
With just eight nations remaining in the current FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Flow’s round ball correspondent Johnny Moore looked back on some of the most exciting matches to have taken place so far at this year’s tournament.
Moore also acknowledged the brave efforts of Australia after one of the competition’s least fancied teams emerged from a difficult group – only to exit at the hands of Lionel Messi’s Argentina after a hard-fought battle.
Moore reviewed the two most recent results at the World Cup – Morocco’s stunning shock win against 2010 winners Spain and Portugal’s 6-1 drubbing of Switzerland.
