"If it has a DrumMuster logo on the label, it will be a free service for those chemicals that are no longer required," Ms Doyle said.

Chemical without the DrumMuster logo will have a cost for collection associated, but some products could be part of the program without a label. Ms Dolye urged people to pre- register their collection. "It's well worth pre-registering all your chemicals."

For those unsure of chemicals on their property people can contact ChemClear "who can walk [people] through the details."

Prices for the removal of chemicals is on a case by case basis with out DrumMuster logo, "we can't actually give a price, because chemicals could be highly toxic and highly volatile or it could well be something that is quite an inert chemical and the pricing scale changes considerably."

"We have a biochemist that does accept the products as they come in and then they safely store those chemicals based on what they believe those chemicals are. For [the chemicals] to be then safely transported and then disposed of safely."

AgVet and Ag chemicals that you'd like to safely dispose of, you can register at chemclear.org.au or simply phone 1800 008 182

Registrations for SA close on the 31st of May.
