After three months with no local sport to get excited about, cricket lovers in the Riverina region are preparing for the first round of Hume Cricket.
Jason spokes with Cricket Albury/Wodonga board member Stephen Bennett about the return to play this Saturday and what hoops the local clubs had to jump through to hit the pitch.
Only those who are double vaccinated (over the age of 16) are eligible to play with the board deciding to only play first-grade matches this week as a result. The junior competitions are unaffected by the NSW health edicts and will also return to action.
