Johnny Moore, Flow’s football expert analysed the latest FIFA World Cup action on the Arvo Flow Sports Hour.
The first round of matches in the FIFA World Cup’s group stages are about to wrap up and Johnny Moore believes the surprising results attained by minnows Japan and Saudi Arabia could be just a taste of what is to come.
Both Asian confederation representatives were pitted against world class outfits in their opening fixtures at the tournament, with Saudi Arabia up against Lionel Messi’s Argentina and Japan facing a Germany team which won the 2014 instalment.
Moore said he remains cautiously optimistic about his motherland England’s chances with the Three Lions dismantling Iran 6-2 earlier this week.
Moore also offered his perspective as a high-level player as to how the Socceroos should have approached their task against France after taking a surprising early lead.
